Don Orione Center

"Uplifting the person", our first mission

In the heart of the Poro region, in Côte d'Ivoire, the Don Orione Center for the Disabled, Korhogo branch, welcomes, with their families, children and adults in a situation of physical, mental or sensory disability, with the aim of helping them to take a step forward towards their physical and intellectual autonomy, with a view to their social integration.

For almost 30 years, the mission of the Don Orione Center for the Disabled has continued, with requests that are becoming more diverse and increasing year after year. Born in 1994, from the initiative of the union of the nuns of Korhogo, the Center was entrusted to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross by Monsignor Auguste Nobou, bishop of the Diocese of Korhogo.
